The Draft Regulations for the Geoscience Act have been gazetted with invitation to comment by April 19. The GSSA will be submitting comment, but members should also consider whether they should comment as individual professionals as well. Groundwater brings relief to Karoo town With the addition of three boreholes, Prince Albert Local Municipality was able to resolve supply issues arising from the low yield from existing boreholes, and the poor water quality that strained the municipality’s reverse osmosis (RO) treatment system.
