Investigation The Effect Of Excess Pumping On The Groundwater Salinity In Semi-Arid Aquifers Using Predicted Future Scenarios
The groundwater quality in semi-arid aquifers can be deteriorated very rabidly due to many factors. The most important factor affecting the quality of groundwater quality in Gaza Strip aquifer is the excess pumping that resulting from the high population density in the area. The goal of this study to investigate the future potential deterioration in groundwater salinity using scenario analysis modeling by artificial neural networks (ANN).
