The Short Learning Programme: DRILLING SUPERVISION, designed for all professionals within the groundwater industry, is hosted by the Institute for Groundwater Studies.  In July this year (13-14 July 2023), the course provided hands-on experience and theoretical background for site selection, drilling, drilling supervision and borehole construction and development to a number of honour students and industry attendees from varied backgrounds. Presented by the Top academia at IGS, this course is an excellent opportunity for not only professionals as a refresher and opportunity to reflect on practices but also young professionals, graduates and students get exposed to mentors, peers and other professionals that can assist them in their careers.
