The Department of Water and Sanitation (DWS) is currently reviewing the NWRS as per the NWA. The DWS has to this day developed the draft NWRS-3 Version 2.6 and was approved by Cabinet for public consultation. The document has since been published in the Government Gazette on 29 July 2022 under Notice 47133 for public comments over a period of 90 days from the date of publication.

Postdoctoral Position at University of Pretoria on the Project Enhancing Sustainable Groundwater Use in South Africa (ESGUSA) on Managed Aquifer Recharge in Polokwane

Informed and research-based approaches to MAR will augment safe and reliable water supply for urban and rural communities in dry areas under increasing population and climate pressure.
