Waterproofing for Underground Structures (Sika S.A.U.)

Dewatering is often required to temporarily lower groundwater levels for excavations extending below the natural occurring standing groundwater level. This allows the planned structures to be constructed in dry conditions. Once the dewatering activities are stopped, the groundwater will rise back to its original natural standing levels. There is thus a requirement to waterproof the strucutre to prevent groundwater penetration.

In this webinar Sika S.A.U. will present waterproofing systems and the most advanced technologies for waterproofing such underground structures.

The session will be presented by Maialen Rodríguez Blanco, MSc Civil Engineer working in Sika SAU as Waterproofing Product Engineer. Maialen is the technical person in-charge, responsible the waterproofing portfolio of Sika in Spain.

The training session will take place Monday the 12th of July at 3pm – 4:30pm GMT+2.

Registrations will close at 9am (GMT+2) on the 12th of July 2021, so please be sure to register before this time. Feel free to make use of this time zone converter to not miss out on the webinar.

This event is free for all TDI members and followers, for more information send an email to [email protected].
