GROUNDWATER MAKING THE INVISIBLE VISIBLE

Groundwater is invisible, and yet its impact is visible everywhere. It is a hidden treasure that enriches our lives. Groundwater may be out of sight, but it must not be out of mind.

The UN-Water Summit on Groundwater aims to bring attention to groundwater at the highest international level. The Summit will use the UN World Water Development Report 2022 as a baseline and the SDG 6 Global Acceleration Framework as a guideline to define actions towards more responsible and sustainable use and protection of this vital natural resource. The Summit will unify the statements from all major water-related events in 2021-2022 into one comprehensive groundwater message for the UN 2023 Water Conference.

Attend the online UN-Water Summit on Groundwater next 7-8 December 2022, with a Pre-Summit Side Events day on the 6 December 2022.

 The Summit will be organized on the Whova app, a conference tool that we will use for the whole Summit with various features that will help you communicate better with the all-Summit speakers and attendees.

 Here are the steps you need to do to attend all Summit sessions directly through Whova:

Step 1: Book your free ticket to the Summit platform

Step 2: You will receive an automated confirmation email with your booking, associated with the Summit platform link.

Step 3: Once you open the link, you will be asked to login if you already have an account on Whova, or you can sign up directly using the same email address you received this email on.

Step 4: After logging in, you can click on Agenda to check the full Summit programme, and attend all Summit sessions by clicking on any session you want to attend.

 All activities will be streamed on Whova directly, which is integrated with zoom to use the interpretation in French or Spanish.
 You can check the agenda directly through Whova app, or through our website. You have the freedom to register in any session or activity during the  Summit.
 You can communicate directly with speakers and all attendees using whova chat features. Feel free to say Hi to your colleagues. Enjoy the networking :)
 All sessions will be recorded and made available later after the Summit is over.
