Artificial recharge website and video

Dear Water Community,

The promotion of artificial groundwater recharge has come a long way since the WRC initiated the first of a number of research projects in the late 1990s. DWA took up the initiative and developed an Artificial Recharge Strategy in 2007, and has recently completed rolling-out that strategy. All relevant resources have been placed on the artificial recharge website and the latest addition is the video of the recharge tests in Prince Albert. Go to the Video page on the website. Other resources include a guide to planning & authorising artificial recharge projects, a guide to implementing projects, a report on suitable areas for implementing projects, feasibility studies, and a lot more. Please have a look at the website and think about artificial recharge as a means to conserving water, storing water and treating water.
