Objective
To expose African ‘water and development’ stakeholders to a broad understanding of climate change on the continent in terms of its impacts on water-related development and allow them to identify climate change adaptation strategies and actions which need to be progressively introduced in their respective countries, sectors and organizations.
Scope
The short course is designed for a multi-disciplinary group of ‘water and development’ stakeholders from water and sanitation, agriculture, environment, local government, national planning, non-government, academic and community sectors, who aspire to better understand the subject of climate change in the water management environment and who can contribute to the practical implementation of adaptation measures. The focus area is the Africa continent.

- Climate change impacts on water-related development
- Practical climate change adaptation strategies and measures
